So sad and angry too! We pay to belong to the caravan and motorhoming club for park ups when we are in the UK. We and stayed on one of their CL sites in York @oldpastureparkyork. Sadly they don't accept any type of motorhome that is 7.5 tonne due to one bad apple who was in a 7.5 tonne who made a mess of their site. They have hard standing so can't be a mess to do with the grass and weight of vehicle. Someone has sadly been badly behaved. Hopefully it is true that it's is ANY 7.5 tonne and not to do with being a self built motorhome as we are reclassified and are considered by the DVLA to be a 'motorcaravan' the same as any other motorhome. If a bought of a shop motorhome is accepted it would be classified as discrimantory. I have a feeling it is to do with our type of vehicle rather than weight as they initially tried to say it was 'motorcaravan' that they can't accept and when I pointed out all motorhomes are classified as a 'motorcaravan' not motorhome he changed it to a 7.5 tonne. So sad as we got on well with them when we were there and would have thought they would ban that one person not just every vehicle that is 7.5 tonne. @candmclub are there many sites that don't accept 7.5 tonnes? My best friend lives in York so any good suggestions of places to park and stay always greatly appreciated πŸ‘ πŸ˜ͺπŸš›πŸ‘«πŸΎβ€οΈπŸ’™πŸ’™β€οΈπŸ’™πŸ’™β€οΈ Caravan and Motorhome Club is it policy of many of your site's not to accept a 7.5 motorhome?

No problem messing up any grass as it's hard standing so can't be that and so no reason not to accept 7.5 tonne

On a more positive note. Wow, C'alan Porter, Menorca is as beautiful as everyone had been saying. For us now it's nice as it's quiet and has everything we need. A supermarket open, walks and the beach and lovely restaurant called Club Menorca where we ate last night and today (link below) and friends just up the road. The walk this morning from the car park is beautiful and goes all the way to Son Bou. We didn't make it all the way as we needed to get back for Chris's work but still spectacular. Stay safe guys and Happy Tuesday πŸ‘πŸš›πŸΎπŸ‘«πŸ˜˜ https://www.facebook.com/ClubMenorca/
