Toiletting is often not discussed or talked about but it's a reality, we all have to go 😄 We recently built a compost toilet using the standard urine separator (one that looks like a funnel) after a days building we tested it…..FAILED! Men pee forwards so ok, but women pee in different directions. This set up relies on the pee going forward not back. After checking the set up after a trial run there was some spillage, this means a different type of separator is needed as pee leaked into the back bucket not where it's supposed to go. The separator was fitted as instructed but no good if the pee goes backwards …sadly women can't aim pee like men. Back on the look out for a new compost toilet 😱. Meanwhile it's back to the horrible porta potti👫🚛 Rolo was bored silly and slept through the noise of power tools… 😄

He's so used to the noise of drills and the saw table……grown up with it as he's been with us from the day we started the build. Funny thing is he's scares of a hoover ….not used to it as we sweep most the time when on our travels 🙂
