Florry the Lorry is a 2012 DAF LF45.160. she started life as a rental lorry and is now reclassified as a motor caravan.

The box is 26mm GRP (glass reinforced plastic) and on the inside is 610cm long, 245cm wide and 239cm tall. The floor, ceiling and walls are all insulated with 50mm of celotex.

There are 2 200w solar panels on the roof charging 2 260ah AGM batteries. We have a 1000w Inverter for charging laptops and running a washing machine!

It has a pressurised water system so we can use normal household taps and a shower and a 336 litre water tank.

Gas is supplied by a 120 litre LPG tank, this is used by the cooker, fridge and 9 litre carver cascade 2 water heater.

Finally we have a 5kw diesel heater for heating in the winter, and hopefully we can install a wood burner in the future.
