Small Home Big Adventure: Diving in Menorca
Published: Wed 20th April 2022
The rock formations and clarity of the water makes underwater photography a lot of fun. There are opportunities to do drift dives along reefs, walls and plenty of caves and swim throughs in underwater tunnels and caverns. Menorca is a small island and if there is a tramuntana in the North you're only ever 30 minutes away from the South Marine Reserve.
There are dive centres in most of the small ports and towns around the Menorca coast with pelnty of places and dive locations and it's never crowded.
The Diving centres we highly recommend and use as we found they are friendly, professional and the equipment always in top condition. They also have a range of different dive spots to cater for all. We have enjoyed all our dives with them and the instructors or guides are fantastic!
South Island, Binibecca - https://binibecadivingmenorca.com/ - Ask for Meri or Pau Google Maps
North Island, Platages de Fornells http://www.divingmenorca.com/ - Ask for Alberto or Nico
There is also a great dive called Pont D'En Gil which is a cave with amazing stalactites and stalagmites creating spectacular formations. To dive here we go with Dive Inn Menorca
