After a few nights at Es Mercadal we moved on to Cala Mitijana. In Menorca there is the famous CamΓ de Cavalls an ancient path of 116 miles around the island. According to Wikipedia it could have been created in the 14th century. Since its original function was the defence and the control of the island, it was patrolled by soldiers mounted on Menorquin horses, hence the word cavalls (meaning "horses" in Catalan) in the name of the path.On some parts of the walks you're able to get to beautiful beaches that are inaccessible by car. Today we went from Cala mitjana car park to see Cala Mitjana and Trebuluger cove. Beautiful 10k walk with some steep inclines. We all had a fab time exploring. Ready to explore some more of the Cami de Cavalls tomorrow. I have posted up pics at the end of our friends lorry next to Florry. Our Spanish friend and her lorry is what inspired us to build Florry and live a simpler life exploring and living in a lorry. We met 5 years ago scuba diving and that was the start of our dreams to convert a van. Stay safe everyone. ππ«πΎππβ€οΈπβ€οΈπβ€οΈπ
